Top handle (Bow handle)
The usual hand grip shapes on power tools are pistol grip, D-handle, and center grip. A top handle is used to hold heavy machines at their centre of gravity as in the case of shears and nibblers. Jigsaws, mainly those types used in the European DIY sector, are also equipped with top handles. Angle grinders in non-stop operation can be guided more easily and fatigue-free with a top handle.
