Sleeve control

Control por casquillo

Stop de frappe à vide

The compression mechanism in electro-pneumatic hammers is equipped with a sleeve control mechanism to prevent no-load impacts. As soon as the application tool is pulled away from the building material, the striker drives the striking pin into the vacant space where it is retained. At the same time, the striker opens an air escape duct in the impact system housing thus preventing the build-up of vacuum or compression. When the tool is pushed against the working material again, the opening in the impact system housing is closed by the striker via the striking pin and the compression can build up again. The result is a smooth idling motion which damages neither the tool mounting nor the screws by no-load or recoil impacts. The percussive energy is built up gradually in order to ensure the precise centring of the tool on the building material.
