Hazardous or noxious dust and chips have to be removed by dust extraction. This applies to wood, stone and especially asbestos which is subject to very strict regulations ? substances containing asbestos must not be sanded!
The vacuum cleaners used for this purpose have to meet the requirements laid down in the regulations of the employers liability insurance associations. Filter bags which retain the dust also have to conform to strict regulations. (See also BIA certificate)
