Core bits are used for the installation of switch and conduit boxes and also for through-drilling. The tungsten carbide cutters ensure a steady drilling progress. In one-piece core bits, the centring bit is inserted with the help of an internal cone. It ensures stable pilot drilling. In two-piece core bits the centring bit is removed once the hole has been started. These core bits are capable of dust-free drilling.
