Radio interference suppression
The brush sparking of a universal motor can cause interference in radio, television and communication frequencies. Unfavourable reception and bad aerials can result in disturbances which can exceed by far the reception field strength of the selected station and lead to unpleasant interference. Power tools must conform to the EMC guideline 89/336/EEC.
