Pressure limiter
Device which reduces the pressure in a system before the system or parts thereof suffer any damage. In pneumatic technology the pressure can be limited by turning the pressure generator off or by venting. In the case of high-pressure cleaners the pressure pump is often short-circuited with a by-pass which stops it from adding pressure to the system.
