This term is widely used and has different meanings:

Output of a vacuum cleaner
The suction power of a vacuum cleaner is depending on the motor power and the internal diameter of the suction port. The capacity or output is stated in liters per minute at 70 mbar.

Output of spray guns
The paint volume which can be processed, it is stated in grams per minute.

Output of hot-air guns
Blower output, stated in liters per minute.
Output of compressors
Volume of air which is taken in by the compressor, stated as delivery rate in l/min.

Output of high-pressure cleaners
Product of the flow rate in l/min and the working pressure in bar, measured at the pump exit.
