Hook-loop self-adhesive backing (Velcro backing)
Paper clamps and latch fasteners for the attachment of sanding sheets are gradually being replaced by hook-loop self-adhesive backing. The sanding sheets have an excellent grip even at high rotational or orbital speeds and can be used again and again. The hooks and loops grip into each-other and provide a very strong lateral hold.
