Dust extraction hammer
A dust extraction hammer is a rotary hammer with an integrated dust removal system. The debris and dust resulting from the drilling process are swept up by a suitable device directly at the entrance to the bore hole or by a special hollow
drill bit at the back of the hole and removed to a dust receptacle on the machine.
This allows:
1. dustfree drilling to protect the worker and the work area,
2. dustfree drilled holes as a precondition for the setting of adhesive anchors,
3. improved penetration through undampered impact of the percussion pulses on the back of the drilled hole and
4. extended drill bit life-span since the cutting edges are not worn out by abrasive rotation in debris and dust.
