Dead man switch
This is a power on/off switch which cannot be locked in the On-position. It has to be held by hand in the On-position during operation, since it automatically assumes the Off-position when released. Dead man?s switches are mandatory for specific power tools, e.g. chain saws, circular saws, planers, routers and others.
