Units of measurement
In Germany, the law governing the use of units of measurement, dated 2nd July 1969, and the regulations for implementation dated 26th June, 1970 determined that only the legal units defined and contained therein had to be used for measuring purposes in the future.
SI units are listed in DIN 1301 where the seven basic units of measurement are defined.
