Subassemblies
The use of subassembly units or modules has become accepted for the fabrication of power tools and air tools. The individual power tool models can be separated into subassembly units like motor, transmission, housing and handle components. A wide variety of modules can be assembled in different combinations resulting in other models of the same type of tool. For example, the same motor can be used for an impact drill or an impact wrench. Modular systems are not only service-friendly, but also extremely cost effective.
