Rubber backing pad
The very flexible rubber or plastic pads are used as backing for fibre sanding sheets, and on angle grinders they replace the commonly used cutting or grinding discs to perform light sanding work or if you wish to obtain a very smooth surface finish. (See also Fibre sanding sheets)
