Restart cutout
If a power tool is not consciously turned off during power failures or interruptions lasting shorter or longer periods of time, a machine which is not equipped with a restart cutout can become dangerous when it automatically starts up again.
The restart cutout prevents the automatic start of a tool after the power supply has been re-established. The power switch on the tool has to be pressed to turn the machine on again.
