Hand guard
The danger of injury through lack of attention when working with electric power tools can be considerably reduced by covering the mechanical drive shafts with a contact or hand guard. Many different types of guards are in use, here are some examples:
1.Fixed guards for angle and straight grinders
2.Mobile guards for circular saws and planers
3.Transparent guards on saw benches
4.Transparent anti-splinter guard covering the saw blade on jigsaws
5. Chip guards on routers
6.Shifting guards for planers in stationary operation
