Garden tool for the maintenance of lawns under shrubs and bushes, along walls and in other inaccessible places. The cutting implement is usually a quickly rotating nylon cord which can be adjusted in length when worn (cord trimmer). Instead of the cord, replaceable free-moving plastic blades can also be used.
