D-handle
Spade-shaped handle on drills. It is located as an extension of the spindle axis which means that the contact pressure is fed straight into the machine. A disadvantage is the bad absorption of back torque. Machines with D-handle must therefore be operated with an auxiliary handle. (See also Drills)
