Continuous running duty (S1)
Power tools are run at nominal power over a period of 24 hrs in continuous running duty. The temperature rise in the machine is produced by the current flowing through the motor. The resulting excess heat is dissipated by the ventilator. As a result a balance between heat increase and heat dissipation is established since the tool is kept in a steady condition (equilibrium). Continuous running duty means operating a machine in a steady condition.
