Carbide-tipped cup wheels consist of a steel body with tungsten-carbide grains soldered onto its surface. TC cup wheels are available with flat and slanted sanding surface in three grits, fine, medium and coarse.

TC cup wheels are used on small and large angle grinders to remove thick coats of paint, adhesives and mortar rests, and for work on breeze blocks, sand-lime brick, plastic, fibreglass-reinforced plastic and for coarse woodwork.
