Breathing protection
During surface treatment, especially grinding and sanding of various materials dust is produced which after prolonged exposure can lead to often irreversible damages of the respiratory organs. For this reason you should use dust extraction systems offered by power tool manufacturers like Bosch. There are appropriate regulations for trade and industry governing dust extraction which if disregarded can lead to the closure of the business by public authority.
In addition to active breathing protection through dust extraction, you should also consider passive breathing protection by using so-called respiratory or dust masks.
These protective masks are equipped with appropriate filter elements for the protection against specific hazardous substances. You should determine the appropriate application category before using a breathing mask.
