Bench grinder
A bench grinder (wheel stand) is a double grinding machine which is permanently attached to a workbench. The drive shaft of an AC motor projects on both sides. Grinding or polishing discs are attached, one on each side. Suitable supports and attachments can be used to grind smaller workpieces. A wheel stand is often used to sharpen tools.
