This is an electric power tool predominantly used to sand the surfaces of different materials. Belt sanders are equipped with a continuous rotary sanding belt and they can have various rotational speeds. They are known for their high removal rate and their parallel chatter marks. They are designed for large-surface work on paintwork, fillers, plastics, wood, metal and also stone. Integrated dust extraction is mandatory and environment-friendly. Built-in electronic controls permit the variable selection of belt speeds of 250 to 400 m/min to suit the material involved. The graphite platen pad with cork base permits the finest sanding and finishing applications. Most belt sanders can be easily fastened with screw clamps for stationary operation. Professional belt sanders for trade and industry can be installed in a bench mount for stationary operation.
